Initially developed as a marketing and public relations firm, Focus 9 has played an active role in various professional fields ranging from community activism and organizing, journalism, promotions, and political advertising.Some of our company highlights in the late 1970’s and thru the early part of the 2000’s include: the Ali-Spinks Heavyweight Championship Fight (1978), the World’s Fair (1984), New Orleans Mayor Sidney Barthelemy’s Mayoral Campaigns (1988; 1992), the company produced monthly Newsletter “Who Will Speak for Us” (1999-2004).In 1991, the accounting and bookkeeping division of Focus 9 was established under the business name, Yisrael and Associates.Yisrael and Associates has specialized in taxation in the New Orleans area for over 15 years.In 2008, Yisrael and Associates merged with our flagship entity Focus 9 Financial, and will operate henceforth as Focus 9 Enterprises – Westbank New Orleans.
Our multi-purpose consulting firm and parent company, Focus 9 Enterprises, was established to serve the Central Florida area in 2002. In 2007, the all encompassing “Circle of 9” was developed with three initial entities: Focus 9 Financial, Focus 9 Catering, and Focus 9 Travel. Focus 9 Financial currently assists clients in the business areas of taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, small business start-up, document preparation, small claims filing, and payroll services. Our food and beverage division is led by Focus 9 Catering and our dream seeker’s travel agency, Focus 9 Travel, completes our Focus 9 Enterprises Family.
